Today, I want to share with you an incredible wedding that I had the privilege of photographing. Meet Priya and Jeff, a couple whose love and resilience really shone through on their special day, even when the weather seemed determined to get in the way.

It was a tough year for many of my clients, but I have to say Jessica & Michael rolled with the punches with style, humor and grace. Having to downsize and reschedule their wedding, the couple opted to move the ceremony and reception to the backyard of their new home.

After a year so full of uncertainty and worry, I wanted to reflect on the work I was able to create, and the people who so graciously allowed me into their lives. I cannot express the gratitude I feel for the clients who stuck with me during a extremely difficult time in the wedding industry.

My final wedding of 2018 could not have been with a better couple. Kate & Kris were simply a joy to work with, from the engagement session to their wedding.

If there’s one word I could use to describe Jessica and Mike’s wedding day, it would be energetic! They are such a positive and sweet couple that I knew this day was going to be an exciting one.

Their wedding was held at one of the more unique venues I’ve photographed…. The Glessner House. It’s an historic gilded era mansion in the South Loop.

Meagan & Nick’s wedding was absolutely stunning from beginning to end. First, you’ll have to check out their engagement photos. Between Molly’s Cupcakes, a picnic at Montrose Harbor, and sunset photos on the lake, they were so much fun to photograph.

Colette & Phil's wedding at the Bridgeport Art Center was absolutely fantastic!  They were amazing to work with and incredibly generous. I'm excited to share some of my favorites!  

Caroline & Michael’s big day is a wonderful example of a classic Chicago wedding, with a beautiful mix of modern and historical elements. Their ceremony was held at one of the most recognizable catholic churches in Chicago, Holy Name Cathedral.
