Hello and thank you for stopping by! So how did I get here? I first picked up a camera as a child on family hikes in the mountains. I loved photographing nature and still do. Photography actually runs in my family; my grandfather was a photographer in the 1940s and 50s. I was introduced to photojournalism in high school, and eventually graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in journalism. After a career in newspapers, I embarked on my journey as an independent photographer and business owner, and I have over 15 years experience as in wedding & commercial photography. Above all, I absolutely love working with my clients!
