Punta Cana Destination Wedding - Jennifer & Chris

Under normal circumstances, I truly prefer to meet in person with potential couples before officially booking their wedding.  I just feel developing a personal relationship with my clients lends to more dynamic, storytelling images.  Also things can get lost in translation when solely using email, phone or even Skype to communicate.  

So when Jennifer & Chris (who are from Canada) contacted me about photographing their destination wedding in Punta Cana, I was a little hesitant.  They found me online through the WPJA, and we chatted mostly through email or Facebook.  However I love to travel, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to shoot in the Dominican Republic.  In short, I'm glad I took the risk.  After meeting them for the first time at the Majestic Colonial Resort, I think we were all more at ease.  Jennifer & Chris share a great chemistry that shows in the photographs.  To date one of my favorite international weddings I've documented!
